Conservation, Department of Anthropology under management of Ruth Norton.  Conservation treatments of approx. 150 Pre-Columbian artifacts (old mounts removal), artifacts documentation in view of the exhibit The Aztec World, and conservation treatments and mounting of African beaded artifacts (necklaces, headdresses, and aprons) in view of a loan.

For the exhibit Amazon to Caribbean (Oct. 2005), under management of Dr. L. Bacon, Head of Collections Conservation and Care.
Documentation and conservation treatments of a large group of ethnographic objects from British Guyana and Brazil (Wai Wai and Mawayan groups).  Worked in close collaboration with the curatorial team, the exhibition department (design, display and mounting) and the collection manager (transportation).

Redevelopment of the Islamic Arts Department; program under management of F. Merizzi, Chief Executor Manager, and F. Richard, Head Curator of the Islamic Arts Department.
In charge of the preventive conservation of a collection of 3,000 objects including conservation program protocol, objects documentation, condition reports and treatment propositions in coordination with a multidisciplinary team.
Conducting the evaluation of a 10,000 objects collection in view of a large conservation treatments campaign including feasibility study and establishment of a phased work plan.

April 2003-Sept. 2004      
Musée du quai Branly, Paris, Specialized Conservator
In the context of the Collections Conservation Program aimed to prepare, transfer and bring up to conservation standards 300,000 ethnographic objects for the museum opening (2006); scientific program under management of C. Naffah, Chief Curator of Cultural Heritage.
Conservation treatments over more than a hundred objects from various origins and made of a wide range of materials; includes treatments of objects to be displayed.
Preventative conservation: specific packing for fragile or sensitive objects (e.g. human remains), supervising object packing and transport, providing conservation consultation and training for technicians, pest and infestation management.
Program management and development: conducting studies for the future conservation laboratory and collections storage facilities, establishing conservation program protocol, and developing reference documentation, bid preparation and supervision of contracts in collaboration with the C2RMF (Research and Restoration Center for the French Museums).

Sept. 2002                        
Auckland Museum, New Zealand, Conservation Technician
For the exhibit Sir Edmund Hillary, Everest and Beyond, under management of J. Gresson, Senior Conservator, and M. Hutchinson, Exhibition Conservator.
Packing and transporting objects from the Canterbury Museum (Christchurch, NZ).  Undertaking condition reports and minimal treatments on a large collection of Tibetan and Nepalese artifacts.

INTERNSHIP
October 2001 - August 2002. Auckland Museum, New Zealand, Postgraduate Intern
Final year internship, under management of J. Gresson, Senior Conservative.
Pacific objects conservation treatments including a Maori pigeon pot, a Maori lace bark basket, a large painted tapa cloth (Uvea) and a Malanggan sculpture (New Ireland). Involved in ceremonies concerning the departure of Taonga (Maori treasure).
Research Projects: paint binder identification, tests related to cleaning feathers and dyeing synthetic fibers, desalination of archaeological ceramics.
